Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 4, 2026
Accessibility is at the heart of EasyEye Puzzles. Our books are designed for readers with low vision, and we want our website to be just as comfortable to use.
1. What we have done
- Readable typeface: we use Atkinson Hyperlegible, a font designed for readers with low vision, at a large base size.
- Text size controls: the A, A+ and A++ buttons at the top of every page make all text larger.
- Night mode: a darker colour scheme that is gentler on tired or light-sensitive eyes.
- Strong contrast between text and background, and large buttons that are easy to tap.
- Keyboard access: every page can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a "Skip to content" link.
- Screen reader support: images have text descriptions, and pages use clear headings and landmarks.
- Reduced motion: animations are switched off if your device asks for reduced motion.
2. Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We continue to test and improve the site.
3. Known limitations
Sample book pages are shown as images. They are described in text, but the individual puzzle letters in them cannot be read by screen readers.
4. Feedback
If you have difficulty using any part of our website, or need information in a different format, please tell us at [email protected]. We will do our best to help, and to fix the problem.
